Solutions Manager

Role Overview: As the Solutions Manager at Amped Data Solutions, you will play a critical role in overseeing the design, development and delivery of cutting-edge software applications and data solutions. You will guide a team of talented developers and data professionals, manage innovative projects, and ensure robust, high-quality, scalable solutions that meet and align with our clients' needs and strategic goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles from concept to completion, and ensure alignment with both client and business objectives. Your expertise in software development, data management, and team leadership will drive the successful execution of our projects and will be instrumental in driving our success.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of software developers and data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring clear communication and coordination between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Provide technical and project management guidance and support to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Provide regular status updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements clearly and concisely to foster a collaborative work environment throughout project lifecycle.
• Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business and client objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices while encouraging innovation.

Data Strategy and Solutions Development:

• Lead the development of data strategies that align with clients' business objectives, ensuring data solutions deliver actionable insights.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop advanced analytics models, algorithms, and dashboards that provide real-time insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all solutions, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop project scope, plans, timelines, goals and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Coordinate project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and data projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and documents as needed, ensuring all materials are accurate, well-organized, and delivered on time.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:

• Identify and mitigate potential risks by implementing strategies to minimize impact.
• Develop strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen risks, challenges, and vulnerabilities.
• Resolve conflicts to ensure a cohesive and productive team dynamic.
• Adapt to fast changing project requirements, circumstances, and evolving technological landscapes.

Data Governance and Security:

• Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards of all data solutions.
• Manage access controls, encryption, and other security measures to protect sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
• Maintain and organize digital records, ensuring data is stored and managed securely.

Special Projects:

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks to support the growth of Amped Data Solutions and team members

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development, data management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering scalable software development and data solutions projects.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and data-related technologies (SQL, R, ETL tools).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and other data integration technologies.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technological environments and lead projects through change and innovation.
